FRESH BOBA started as OneZo Bradenton, the first shop in the Manatee-Sarasota area to offer truly handmade boba pearls. Our commitment to freshness and quality led us to evolve into our own independent brand, FRESH BOBA, where we continue to innovate with scratch-made mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs alongside our signature drinks.

We are the only boba shop in the Bradenton and Sarasota makes our tapioca pearls from scratch. Most shops use factory-made, vacuum-sealed boba. Our handmade process ensures a superior "QQ" (chewy) texture and zero preservatives.

Chef Bo is the magical heart of FRESH BOBA! His origin is as legendary as our pearls. One morning, while perfecting a new batch of boba, a "secret ingredient" was accidentally added to the boiling pot. As the water shimmered and the steam swirled into the shape of a whimsical chef's hat, Chef Bo himself emerged from the bubbling pot! He wasn't born in a kitchen elsewhere—he was literally born from the boba in our open kitchen, fully formed and infused with the ancient secrets of "Boba Alchemy." Now, he watches over every batch to ensure they have that magical, signature "QQ" texture.

Beyond our signature Handmade Tapioca Boba, we offer Popping Boba (Mango, Strawberry, Peach), Lychee Jelly, Herbal Grass Jelly, and our creamy Cheese Foam.

Most boba shops buy pre-made, vacuum-sealed pearls. We are the only shop in Bradenton that makes our pearls from scratch using premium tapioca flour and natural ingredients. We knead the dough by hand and use a specialized machine Imported from Taiwan to cut thousands of perfect tapioca pearls.

'QQ' is a Taiwanese term used to describe the perfect texture of boba—think of it as the 'Al Dente' of the pearl world. It should be soft yet springy and chewy.
